VReps is partnering with Howard University Men’s Basketball

November 21, 2020

SEATTLE Virtual Repetitions (VReps) is excited to announce a partnership with Howard University’s Men’s Basketball program under Head Coach Kenneth Blakeney.  The Bison are entering the second year under Coach Blakeney’s leadership, and have made technology an integral part of their team’s preparation for the 2020-21 season.

Jake Brown, Assistant Coach to Blakeney, who has worked extensively on the VReps partnership stated that adding the VReps virtual playbook has made the integration of new recruits more streamlined. “VReps has been a very useful tool for our program,” Brown said.  “Having an easy and interactive way to learn plays has helped our student-athletes retain information and enhance their basketball IQ’s.”

This partnership marks the first collegiate partner announced by Director of Basketball, Mike Greenman.  Team partnerships are the cornerstone of progress for VReps, and serve as individual case studies and collaborators for digital playbook innovation.  “We are excited to be a part of the exciting change going on at Howard,” Greenman said.  “Not only do we aim to collaborate with rising programs, but we support the work the staff and players are doing on and off the court.”

VReps is looking to announce the remaining lineup of the current team partners in the upcoming weeks.   The partnership program works to enhance the user experience from the player and coaching side as well as to innovate the future of 3D and digital playbooks for future team use.
